Where in the USA does it RARELY rain?

I live in Yerington, Nevada. It's a small town about 80 miles SE of Reno, Nevada. We RARELY get rain here. I've been kind of upset about it because recently (within the last month or so) it has rained in both Reno and Las Vegas several times, but we haven't had a drop! It really surprised me that the storm completely skipped us!

southern california, when it rains there though, it rains sooo hard that nobody can drive in it!!!! Its nuts, i was there once when it started to rain, everyone made a huge deal out of it like there was a tornado coming or something.  They pulled over cars and trucks all along the highway, the bus i was on pulled over.  It was soo stupid!! o well, if ur looking for a good rainless vacation, go there.  hope this helps!! <3

Well, a desert has little rain no matter where you are, so the question is what are the deserts in the US. Vegas is a desert, and so is Phoenix, Arizona.
