I know that somewhere the bible talks about how we are guaranteed today but we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Not exactly in those words but more or less has that meaning. It sort of goes along with Matthew chapter 6 where it is saying not to worry about tomorrow because we don't know what tomorrow will bring and tomorrow will take care of itself.

  1. how about:

    Prov. 27:1

"Boast not thyself of to morrow: for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."

    or:

    James 4:14

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
