  1. The cell nucleus. Mitochonria are the powerhouse of the cell, producing energy in the form of ATP. The chloroplast are only found in plants as they store chlorophyll which gives them their green color. The cytosol is the fluid that makes up the cytoplasm, which contains all the organelles of the cell.

  2. c - DNA should't get outside of the organelles.

there is DNA (in eucaryotes) in chloroplast's and Mitochondia:

  3. If we're talking about eukaryotes, the answer is usually

    c. Cell cytosol

But guess what?  If your cell has been infected by a virus, you'll find DNA there too.  LOL.  Bring that up in class and your teacher will give you "participation points."

  4. C--mitochondria, chloroplasts, and the nuclei all contain DNA.

  5. Actually it is e)

    Cell nucleus definitely has DNA.

Similarly even mitochondria and the chloroplast stroma too contains DNA.

The cytosol has something called maternal DNA. During fusion of egg cell and sperm cell, some DNA present in the cytosol do get transfered to the daughter cell..

  6. To my way of thinking, you should only find DNA in the nucleus, and no where else, except of course for mitochondrial DNA.
