Where in the stance should a wood be?

i have woods that are actully wood....3 wood and 4 wood.

where in my stance should it be on tee off and on the fairway?

  2. the longer the club the more you put it towards ur left heel instead of the center of your stance

  3. nowhere, because you should never be hitting a wooden club anymore.  Also, you should not carry a 3 wood and a 4 wood.  You should have a gap of at least 2 numbers between your woods (example 3 and 5).  

    for a driver, the ball should be even with the instep of your front heel.  For your other woods, the ball should be about 2-3 balls behind that.  Slightly forward will allow you to hit it higher with less spin, while playing it further back will allow for a lower shot with higher spin.

  4. Well with the driver, its inline with the inside on the left heel, so with woods its about 1 or 2 ball widths right of that.

  5. The ball should be an inch to a few inches behind your normal Driver set up for a fairway wood.
