  1. in the juice

  2. Its in the outter layer because if you fully cook the tomatoe the virus disappears

  3. Typically , it would be on the skin or stem area.

Salmonella, found in animal f***s, can contaminate tomatoes through soil, irrigation or wash water, or through improper handling between farm and table. Although traditional food safety advice recommends washing the surface of fruits and vegetables to remove bacteria, salmonella may enter a tomato's skin through cuts or cracks. If that happens, washing won't remove the bacteria.

  4. Salmonela is not  a virus.

  8. In the whole tomato, not just one specific part

  9. Salmonella is a virus carried in contaminated water or manure.  It would be on the skin, and a thorough washing or cooking will kill the virus.
