Where in the wild would i find a corn snake?

i kno your not suppose to take htem outta the wild but ive looked in my uncles corn fields cuz i since there called corn snakes i figured they would be in there but please help me

  1. You will actually be more likely to find a wild corn snake hiding somewhere in the woods or in a barn or shed or old unused house.


  2. I think corn snakes hang out in the woods alot, you know, eating mice and such. I would check the corn again though.

    Corn snakes tend to like overgrown fields, trees, and  abandoned/rarely used places like buildings/farms.  

    They also like to come out more in the sun, so you're more likely to find them on a nice sunny day as well.

  4. they are called corn snakes because of the pattern on their bellies...not because they hang out in the corn field.  they are like any other snake...probably hide under piles of wood or under porches under rocks...etc

  5. Under logs and rocks in the woods.  They are nocturnal, so are more active in the evening.
