  1. I guess.

    Japan or china.

  2. My only guess would be a small town, where everyone knows everyone else.

No one around my town is respectful anymore.  No one says excuse me and people are oblivious the the rest of the world around them.  To many people think the sun only shines on them.

  3. Well for the part all of the European countries respect each other more than we do. The Buddhist I think are the most respectful. They respect all living things and are very environmental. They do not believe in killing things just to get what you want.

    Hope this helps-

  4. umm this world isnt perfect good luck getting a straight anwer.  i would say a small town of like 500 or less people, were everybody knows everybody.

  5. Thanet in Kent England for one, Welland, ON for another.  Also surprisingly enough, right here on Yahoo Answers percentage-wise.  The insults from a dissenting minority are few and far between when one considers just how many people sign on to YA to join the daily queue.  I heard from exactly one dissenter thus far in my climb to Level 3 and all he did was disagree with my expressed opinion and not respond when I returned his eMail with an "Ok to believe differently than I do and I accord you the same respect" message.  The Rude Rudy's are still assigned to a very minor position and constitute no threat.

  6. small Southern towns seem to best in the US but don't get too small and beware that everyone knows eveyone else's business it's kind of like family.

  7. everywhere, you have extremley disrespectful here..mean people i have encountered, but really great ones too.

  8. No doubt it is the place we called South East Asia! In my communities for example, we just not respect for our parents only but the whole family and even our friends. If we have a love, respect for each other is easy.   Try it!!

  9. I've only been to a few other countries, Russia, Mexico, Germany. None of them in my experience are very friendly to foriegners. Of the three, I'd say Germany acted the most decently.

  10. not on earth. Yep. :/ bummer huh?

  11. I just returned from Scotland, Ireland, and England and have to say the Scots are the friendliest and most respectful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

We also lived in Germany and traveled much of Europe several years back and the Germans are a respectful people in general. It's more true of the older generations than of the younger, but that's pretty much everywhere.

I also agree about small towns being more respectful than cities and have also lived in several of both. When you know your neighbors, you're more likely to be aware of their needs as well as your own, and that's a key to respect.

  12. You know, this is just based on a recent observation in the U.S. I recently moved up north from Florida and people up north aren't as friendly or polite as people down south are. People here in the Chicago area always appear to be in a big hurry all the time.

  13. Generally small towns, farming communities, are nicer places to be, because life is easier, slowed down, people all know each other... they all know they will see one another every day, so it's kind of like a big family.

City dwellers tend to be less respectful of one another because there is a general attitude of, "I'll never see that person again."

  14. bohol island , philippines. :-)

people there are uber friendly.  you can leave your stuff outside and no one would steal it.

  15. Iceland. It's a completely classless society and 100% literate.
