Where in the world are sharks protected from fisherman?

I know sharks are under the Endangered Species Act, but what countries/oceans are sharks protected from fisherman or getting killed?

Sharks are not protected......A few rare species are. The Endangered Species Act, is an American ACT... Last I heard we here in America do not make laws for the rest of the world.

Great White Sharks are protected in Australian waters.

I am pretty sure the whale shark is protected too.
