Where in the world can I find the restaurant that serves the best Indian food?

Name me anywhere in the world!... Southern or Northen or vegetarian Indian food -- best you have tried... so that whenever I visit places, I can go try on it!

I only know all this information because I had a stay there and happened to love the food so much I took a take-out menu home. Both the food and service was fantastic! The strange thing is that both the restaurant location and the city that it is in would lead one not to expect such great food.

I was pleasantly surprised.

I've been to many many countries in my military career. The absolute best Indian food is in the Netherlands. Just go to any Indonesian restaurant, they also serve Indian food.

In Makati City, Philippines, the place is called Swagat Indian Restaurant.  Excellent South Indian food, at low, low prices.  They have a website.  I don't know if it will be worth a trip to the Philippines for you, though.
