On Monday my baby sea monkeys where born. I saw a bunch as soon as i put them in the water. Yesterday I had ALOT swimming, enjoying life. This morning i find NONE in the tank. After a little while i started to see a few. At this time i see about 7 when yesterday i saw atleast 40. Where did they go? I did everything the instructions told me to do so where did i go wrong? The water is clear, the temp is good, i've aerated the tank as well, i didn't feed them yet because the directions say wait 5 days. I feel like a murderer. Anybody with an answer will be great help!!! thanks :D

  1. when a little nauplius develops  many kinds of bacteria can attack it through the openings of the body. When it is born it doesn't feed for some time and then its fine, but when it starts to feed there can be a massive die off caused by bacteria.

And it doesn't matter if you havent fed them yet because they have the "baby food" in the packet to last them for these 5 days.

Just do as the instructions tell you to do and you should get some adults. If not try the 2 year warranty thing.

  2. I had sea monkeys once, they actually lived for a couple months.  Have you been feding them every 3 days like the package says?  Also did youi sanitize the water before you put them in?
