Where in the world is Paradise?

My wife and I want to start planning for our 10th anniversary. (3 years away) We want to go all out, so we figure if we start planning since now, then that'll give us an idea of costs that way we can start saving. We're looking for something a little outside of the usual American getaway, which we figure is like the Bahamas, or Hawaii. We want to go somewhere with breathtakingly beautiful scenery, but at the same time not too leisurely, to where there's nothing to do but melt on the beach. Any suggestions? (preferably with personal experience) We were thinking Fiji, Switzerland, Greece... what do you think?

Thailand has beautiful romantic beaches,  It inexpensive and has both exciting nightlife and many tourist oriented leisure activities. Scuba diving, deep sea fishing, Tigers, elephants and cobras, golf, boating, snorkling and its accustom to western tourist so language, money (ATMs are everywhere) and shopping are readily available.  I do not know anyone who went to Thailand and can say the didn't enjoy the trip.  Koh Phi Phi is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.  

From Phuket you can visit James Bond Island used in the Roger Moore "The Man With the Golden Gun."

Right here in Hawaii - skip Oahu (too crowded, traffic, noisy) and head for either Lanai, Maui or the Big Island - the scenery is about the most beautiful you will find anywhere in the world.  On the mainland, you might want to consider Sanibel Island or Captiva in Florida.
