Many places claim to have the world's best climate. We claim to be recognised by the World Meteorological Organisation as having the world's most equitable climate.

I think it is the U.K.   It rarely experiences extreme weather conditions and is relatively mild all year round.  You can travel a fairly short distance within the U.K.  to experience different weather if you want.   There is ample year round rainfall.

First you have to identify what qualifies as the best climate, which is impossible to do, since everyone has a slightly different preference.

There is no best climate. Each person has a different preference so, it depends if you like warm weather or cold weather, if you like rain or sunshine! There are a lot of opinions, so there are a lot of bests......................................
