Question:

Where in the world would you expect to experience 0°F/-18°C?

I've been researching for a while, but I can't find anywhere that has a temperature around there (except places like the Poles and Antarctica, but the temperature ranges there are huge!)

Please help me!

  1. Anyplace in the US northern plains or New England states will get that cold occasionally during the winter.  Similarly, in the northern mountainous areas of the Rockies and Cascades.


  2. well you can find tons of places with temperatures less than 0 F !! like minnesota, just go to www.weather.com type in minneapolis and look for the averages and records. look at their record low its like freaking -40 degrees or something so yeah!.

    also just for you to know; the coldest place known on earth is somewhere in Cyberian part of Russia. its exrtemrely cold, probably even less than 50 degress!

  3. I remember it was several years ago that Oklahoma went below 0 F at least northern Oklahoma

  5. North America: Rockies, Great Plains, New England, Great Lakes region, most of Canada & Alaska

    World: Scandanavia (Norway, Sweden, Finland), Siberia, Himalayas, Antarctica, southern tip of Chile on rare occasions

  6. The Arctic and Antarctic circles, perhaps some where very high like the Himalayas, or the Andes, or maybe the Urals?

  7. my freezer should be about there
