Where is 2016 Olympics going to be held?

I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find a straight answer!

So just give me your best bet of where the 2016 Olympics could possibly be held! :)

My best bet is that they are going to be held in Tokyo (but if it turns out to be Chicago - that would be great too).

but the meeting has not been held yet so they only have general ideas at the moment.

Let me tell you that it is a tossup between 4 cities.

The final selection of which city in the Olympics will host the 2016 summer games will take place in November 2009.

One of them is Chicago, IL...my hometown! The other is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But I don't know what the other two cities are as hosts.

Chicago's chances of getting the games is 89 percent. Rio de Janeiro....79 percent.

As some have said, Rio seems a likely choice(with Tokyo and Madrid being the other two possibilities). I'm over in Massachusetts but I think it would be wicked sick if the Olympics were in Chicago. I would actually have a chance of seeing them live:). Though we've had the games over here recently so it might not happen. If they are not in Chicago I'm hoping for Rio.
