Bannan Island is in the "Northwestern Sea" in a temperate climate with no native inhabitants.  It is the northernmost island of the Northwestern Sea.  Bannan Island is probably located in the Pacific Ocean isolated from the world between The U.S. and Japan.  I assume the island is fiction so it is actually located in the author's imagination.
