I have been there. There are several Islands that make up Tahiti and I have been to 5 of them. It is a French Colony (French Polynesia) so prices are very high and the language is French. Some people do speak english but be prepared. There are Cockroaches everywhere so be prepared and take bug spray. I rented a hut on the beach and there was still roaches. There is little or no health care on most islands so take first aid and medications with you. Bora Bora is nice but the locals live in poverty and hate tourists (from anywhere). I loved Mooria the best especially Cook's Bay. You must fly into Papeete and take a fairy to Mooria. The snorkeling is wonderful and I rented a motor scooter and had a great time. The only other way to see Bora Bora is via an all inclusive (Club Med). There are several failed hotels there that are rotting down.

You asking the same question that I have been asking everyone lol … I finally found it … its in FRENCH POLYNESIA … Look on the map its between PERU and NEW ZEALAND in PACIFIC OCEAN … let me know if you cant find it … its really small islands … but as I know and you its BEAUTIFUL!!!!
