Where is Brett Favre on Madden NFL 09?

I can't seem to find Brett Favre on any roster on Madden NFL 09, that I just got an hour ago. Brett Favre isn't on the Packers, Jets, or Free Agents. Where is he?

if u have a 360 or ps3.. hes in the nfl greats.. and u can get him by going to player management and find him then release him

he is retired in the game so you need to update your roster, all the new players as well including bret farve in the jets. Go online now and it will do it for you.

Brett Favre is on the NFL Greats roster you have to release him from there, and then sign him as a free agent, but if you want to put Brett Favre on the Ny Jets the easy way. then you have to go online while playing Madden 09, from there you should see a downloadable patch which is the roster update.

He's on the NFL Greats roster (if you have the PS3 or 360 version). Otherwise, he's on the first roster update. If you're not online, you'll have to create him (he's on the 2007 Packers and the team can be played against).

he's not in the game because he announced his retirement before Madden 09 was finished making
