Cooma is in the Snowy Mountains region of NSW.  Located 2 hours 10 minutes south of Canberra and about 6 hours south of Sydney.  It is largest town in the Alpine Region and people who live in the area travel all the way there just to get Macca's and visit a Woolworths.  Very rarely snows there but sometimes gets lucky.
