I'm a bit hazy on the details, I live in houston and I don't wish any harm to anybody but it's got to hit somewhere between Texas, Louisiana and Alabama. Like everyone else I pray it doesn't hit where I live, I would prefer it not to his Texas at all but what happens happens. So I wanted to know the likely hood of Houston or Galveston being directly hit? I know it's possible but is it likely?

  1. Louisiana, perhaps in the general area of New Orleans, just like Katrina did.

  2. I live in Louisiana and my brother lives along the gulf shores so i don,t want it to hit at all. My brother and his family lost everything they had just bought their home in Ocean Springs. If it do hit I pray that everyone can get out of the way of. God will not put no more than we can handle. I Had a lot of wind damage and was out of lights for 3 weeks. My family was able to cook and feed the neighborhood we had a grill and all of food feeding who ever wanted to eat. It was hot  and at night it was worse, but the families that were hit the worse had it the hardest

  3. I am also in Houston and am watching closely. I don't feel it will hit us here hard, though NOrleans may get hit hard by this one.

I had a dear friend who lived in ocean springs, so sad what happened there with katrina. A lovely little city.

  4. Probably heading towards us.  I'm in New Orleans.  We have declared a contraflow (meaning traffic only flows out of the city) already.  Mandatory evacs to come on Sunday morning at the latest.  We don't play-- anymore.  Gustav looks like Katrina, and we hope to God to minimize residential and city impact, but most important-- no repeated tragedy.

  5. Sadly, Louisiana is the biggest spot right now. Just my luck... good thing I'm not in New Orleans though, but it may cause damage here still... great, joy.
