Where is Hesi Denertrat in Germany please?

I am doing my family history and my GGG Grandmother came from there in 1824 but I am unable to find where it is. Can anyone help me please?

  1. You know, I think whoever was asked to give his info for that census probably was making fun of whoever he was giving his info to. If you read these two words out loud, it means "Heh Sie, den er trat", i.e. "Hey you who got kicked (by him)". It's a semi-lame joke like calling a bond girl p***y Galore or Mary Goodnight.


  2. just checked the phone book germany, theres no last name "denertrat" / sorry.

  3. The former writer is right, it is most likely in Hessen, but Denertrat? See, if you can find a different spelling. Good luck! (A family name can help, if its a name, locally used, like a mountain, a castle or a village).

  4. Your spelling is off, or  there is no such thing as Hesi Denertrat does not exsist, I could not find it anywhere.

    I did find  Hesse Darmstadt  That maybe where she is from.Try looking that up.
