Where is Hurricane Gustav going to make landfall?

I think that it will hit close to the TX LA border or just East of TX border. There is a low developing that they say may push it further to the SW. I guess we will just have to keep watching.

Texas, and Lousiania. It was supposed to hit LA directly but it shifted a little to the west. Im keepin my eye on the storm because Im in the path of it. (Houston, Texas)

When looking at the destination plan on the National Hurricane Center website it looks like it is headed for Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Well atleast these states look like they will be mostly affected by it. However, Katrina was supposed to hit a part of Florida (i cant remember) three days before its big hit on LA. GOD BLESS everyone in its path.

It's most likely going to hit Lousiana near New Orleans. But it can hit anywhere from Texas to the western panhandle of Florida and Mississippi and Alabama.

we heard around Morgan City in Louisiana. There are no more generators to be found, gas has run out at a lot of gas stations, and wal-marts are packed! The New Orleans levee is still not finished and will not be until 2011. We are praying it does not hit! We are 45 mins outside of the New Orleans area. People are in a frenzy trying to evacuate and they are sending buses to NOLA to get people to evacuate. New Orleans can not take another major hit and there is still damage from Katrina.
