  1. There's just one airport and it's in Falconara, just 9 km from Ancona, the regional capitol, you can fly there with Ryanair, from London or Liverpool, or other expensive company, Rome is just 260 km, Pescara 160 km, Bologna 200 km, but Ancona is the best way to get a boat to Greece!!!!!!!!!


  2. Ancona is the capital town of Marche.  It's on the east coast of Italy, north by northeast from Rome.  Ancona has some flights within Italy and Europe.  The closest intercontinental airport in Italy would be a toss-up -- Fiumicino at Rome or Malpensa at Milan are about the same distance.
