Where is Matt? Bought tins of paint. Gloss made all look wet. Satin was okay. But why could I not get matt?

Where is Matt? Bought tins of paint. Gloss made all look wet. Satin was okay. But why could I not get matt?

  3. matt has no shine to it.satin has a sheen .gloss is wet look and matt is a dull paint. . .i love matt and you can get to wipe off dirty marks like you can satin and gloss

  4. Crown do an eggshell finish which is more matt than satin.

  5. Matte emulsion paint is available in every DIY store in a huge range of colour and is brilliant for imperfect walls (satin will show any lumps/cracks more).  Dulux or Crown do a "one coat" matte emulsion.  It's also low odour so you wont stink the house out and get a sore throat!

  6. It's spelled Matte.   What are you trying to paint?  Matte paint is very flat and dull.  For walls, go with eggshell.

  7. You can always go over it again with matt varnish
