  1. Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, on the Yucatan peninsula down by Tulum & Akumal.   You fly into Cancun to get there and then catch a ride for about $65.00 (hour & 1/2 ride south of Cancun on highway 307-wonderful ride!).   I have been there 3 times in the last year.  It is the most wonderful place, simply paradise!

Here is a link we use.  It is not just one I found on the search engine.  There is an all inclusive there, but the way the gated tiny community is set up the whole place is like an all inclusive.  It is a very small elegant paradise with Dolphins jumping all over the place and aqua/turquoise beaches.   I could go on all day.  I just got back in April again.  I hope y'all make it down there someday soon.

Just for fun I will show you what it looks like down there.  I keep this for my friends to see and it's not just something I found on the search engine either, lol.  Where I am suggesting you go is called "The Riviera Maya" or "Mayan Riviera".

  2. Puerto Vallarta is really beautiful.  The water is like 70 degrees.  They have snorkeling and para sailing...

  3. I would recommend either Cancun or Puerto Vallarta. In Cancun you can experience the white sands and pretty turquoise Caribbean sea. It is also near the second largest coral reef in the world. Puerto Vallarta is on the same longitude line at Hawaii, so the climate is nearly perfect most of the year.

  4. Playa del Carmen is BEAUTIFUL! It has the turquoise beaches and lots of all inclusive resorts. I was just there and it was a great get away. Have fun wherever you end up! :)

  5. I love Mazatlan. Puerto Vallarta is nice too and you can go fishing and there are beautiful beaches. It's not quite as touristy as Cancun so prices are better.

  6. Playa de Carmen and Alcapulco. Cancun is way too touristy. Puerto Vallarta is a nice choice too.

  7. Cabo is closer to the states if you live in the west and has blue sky and Pacific Ocean and has been made into what to me is like Dana Point California with an accent.

I prefer to fly to Cancun, lots of flights, and then head south to one of the all inclusive just north of Playa del Carmen or just south of it. Tulum is really different and a cool place as well.

    Good luck!! And safe traveling!!!

  8. Cancun is beautiful but total American. Why go to a foriegn country and be surronded by your home boys.

Acapulco is where mexicans vacation to b/c of the wide range of pricing on hotels and whatnot.

Best time is November thru April. Less humidity , no rain or mosquitos. Plan accordingly.

I see everyone goes to Cancun and I'm glad about that. Leave me here with the local culture in tact.

Consider Acapulco - just as beautiful and cheaper.

Ixtapa and Zuhantinhuo is about 3 hours north and is another great option rather than the gringoville cancun thing
