Where is Michael Phelps From?

I saw on one site that said Baltimore, Maryland, but another that said Ann Arbor, Michigan. I was watching the news before the Olympics, and they said "'Michigan's own' Michael Phelps...", but after he won a medal, they said "in his hometown of Baltimore...". So I'm confused. Where's he from? Was he born at one and moved to the other, or...?

  4. He was born and raised in Baltimore but is living in Ann Arbor because he attends the University of Michigan. He is quoted saying that he'll return to Baltimore after the Olympics.

  8. Michael Phelps is from is from Baltimore Maryland. And his mother works as a principle in Franklin town at Windsor mill middle. And  I  dont know about now but he used to practice at Maddona high in Maryland. But im from Maryland thats how I know all this stuf. I know at first it sounded kind of stalkerish.
