    Kennedy Space Center, is located in Cape Canaveral Fl and they've got a place in Pasadena call Jet Propulsion laboratory.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has offices, research labs, and bases all over the United States and possibly the world.  The two most well know bases are in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and in Houston, Texas.  They have personnel at many Air Force bases and likely inside The Pentagon, the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virgina, and many other government agencies likely have NASA consultants.  

    So the Right answer is Many places, but the place parents take their kids and where they launch the majority of missions from is at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.  

    There are privately operated spaceports throughout the world that deploy the majority of privately owned satellites, in the United States it is likely that NASA oversees these privately funded endeavors.  There is a well known private spaceport in central Nebraska.
