  1. http://www.mycarauctionreview.com has info on a couple of sites that have police car auctions.

  2. They sell the State Highway Patrol cars at Columbus at the ODOT garage on Broad St. That's on the west side and IS70 has an exit at Broad and that is where ODOT is. They sell the cars on sealed bids and they usually retire the cars after they reach 80,000 miles. They only have the sales at certain times of the year. I retired from the OSHP 6 years ago and that was how they did it the 30 years I worked for them. Your local ODOT could  give you the phone number or you could call the local Patrol Post and ask about the old cars. ODOT also sells their equipment there too, a bunch of it.

  3. Todd, I found a list of several auto auction and government seized websites. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Governme... These sites probabaly have a FAQ page to help you. However they cost a little bit to join, but I couldn't find any free resources in my searches. Since the vehicles are always being sold, your annual fee is probably used to employ people to keep the site up to date.
