Where is Zukos mom in the show Avatar?

So i watched the very end of Avatar the last airbender and Zuko visits his father in prison, he says "your going to tell me something...WHERE IS MY MOTHER?" then it skips to another scene where Zuko is back in Ba Sing Se (or how ever you spell it..). Did i miss a scene? i really want to know what happen to his mom.

She was dead..... Zuko Just was hoping she wasnt.... His mom was dead a long time ago

It was never explained, and we are to assume she is dead.

I have not heard any rumors about a show about Zuko finding his mom

In the last episode (or second to last, maybe?) Azula sends away everyone around her to the point she is all alone, and in a private moment, when trying to fix her hair, her mother appears behind her in the mirror, saying that she would never miss her daughter being crowned the Fire Lord, and that she always will love her children. Azula throws a show at her and she disappears, so it is either Azulas crazy mind imagining it, or she is dead and Azula is imagining her ghost trying to help her

i thought it was dumb that it just completly skiped that like people wouldn't be like hey wtf?

i doubt there gunna make a show about zuko finding his mom that seems a little dumb its just a rumour how would anyone know? it hasnt even been announced yet

but i did here that they the makers of avatar are working on a new project

It is not revealed yet but it has been implied that they are going to make another series starring Zuko who goes to find his mother so we'll find out until then

Well it hasnt been revealed yet. but i dont think his mother is dead..shes probably in hiding somewhere. theres a gap in the show, which will be fill when they make the special episode when Zuko finds his mother
