  1. I would look for a restaurant that you could rent a room from rather than a banquet hall.   Like Twin Palms in Pasadena - they have a beautiful patio and the food is great.  The food might be pricey, but you can add the budget for the space rental to the food budget...

  2. How about the Arboretum & Botanical Garden in Arcadia?  You can click onto the website  for information

    Additional cost efficient ideas:

Would you also consider having it at a restaurant that could accomodate 50+ persons.  At least you don't need to pay for the room (some of these restaurants have private or semi private rooms to accomodate this many people), and the money can go towards the food?

Keeping budget in mind, how about:

    Spaghetti Factory (Duarte)

El Cholo in Pasadena (They have private or semi private rooms

Bucca de beppo restaurants* (you can preorder the food and keep within a budget; however their areas are semi private)

Mimi's Cafe (same as Bucca...you can preorder the food to keep within a budget; their areas are also semi private...I've seen quite a few showers there)

Maria's Italian Kitchen, various locations throughout the valley; Pasadena (see website for locations)
