  1. Berlin! there a lot of things to do and to see:D

    (anyway, i don't like Germany)

  2. Munich area is great...just south of there is the Castle Nueschwenstein....a must see.

  3. Munchen!

  4. Schwarzwald is pretty - and Freiburg has some good wine and photo-worthy sights. Except it's super-warm here at the moment, so if you're looking for somewhere cool, i'd suggest Berlin or Munich. Both are awesome towns you should definitely see, especially before they jack the prices up when the World Cup arrives!

    Heidelberg's pretty, but full of tourists. But whatever takes your fancy...!

  5. Anywhere where Donners can be found!!! I miss Duetchland.

  6. Hamburg is very cool, good scene for young adults.

    Munchen is culturally elite.

    The Black Forest is nice for scenery and natural exploration.

  7. 1. BERLIN - Lots of things to do - Great Night Life

    2. KOLN - Great Night Life - Pretty Much Open All Night Long

  8. THE VOLKSWAGEN FACTORY.

  9. South Germany/North Austria is AWESOME. It's right around Neuschwanstein castle, (which is what Disney      ed Cinderella's castle after.) It's an awesome place, cool castles, fun hikes. Great place overall.

  10. If you want to see more tourists than Germans, go for Heidelberg.

    Other places that are really great are:

    * Berlin

    * Munich/Muenchen

    * Hamburg

    * Stuttgart - if you are into cars visit Daimler-Chrysler headquarters and Porsche museum, both in Zuffenhausen

    * Black Forest/Schwarzwald - you might want to visit Baden Baden and Strasbourg, which are just to the west of the Black Forest, and perhaps head a little bit south over the swiss border to Basel

    * if you rent a car go for scenic routes like "Romantische Strasse" or "Weinstrasse"

    * in summer Ruegen is worth a trip all by itself - but the other islands in the German part of the baltic see are gorgeous as well.

  11. I think Heidelberg is /was my favorite place..

  12. Rothenburg, lots of tourists though, Garmisch,  Heidelberg, Berlin, Dresden. Those were my favorites after living there for 3 years.

  13. Munich/bavaria is the best is has BMW, the olympia park, nymphenburg, neu schwanstein.....I could go on forever, it is by far the rpettiest area in all of Germany!  hands down!

  14. Rothenburg is awsome if you are looking for a medieval like city with a complete wall surrounding the old city...a lot of Japanese are there...very touristy. But an obscure place would be Andechs which is brewery run by monks outside of Munich its a half day hike and half day drinking fest. Munich by far is my favorite German city. I've been all over Germany and have lived there so these are recommendations.

  15. Heidelberg, Hamburg, Berlin's love parade

  16. I hear the parks are cool............ if you aren't a party person then stay away from the parks.  Go see the sights, the castles, and enjoy.

  17. Anywhere, mostly. . . personally, I'm not the biggest fan of cities, and I lived in Germany for over a year.  The coolest places to hang out in Germany are on trains traveling across the country or on a bike with a group of locals.  This way you see the countryside, find out about lots of local restaruants (YUM!) and hear local lore.
