Where is a fun beach destination for a guy go to with his friends in New England?

I want to go away the end of August somewhere on the New England shore (Maine, New Hampshire, Cape Cod, Rhode Island). I am a 24 year old guy and will be with a couple other guys the same age. We are looking for a beach scene and party atmosphere (i.e. girls, bars).
