Where is a good U.S. city to vacation to if you want to go to casinos for a few days, besides vegas...?

My parents want to go somewhere for a long weekend and my dad LOVES casinos...other than Vegas, where are some good cities to vacation to?

Atlantic City has beaches and casinos. It will be a good place for a long weekend. It also depends where in US do you live. How much do they want to spend and how do they intend to travel-by car or air.
