Where is a good cheap place to go fishing in Key West?

I am going on vacation to Key West and I want to go fishing down there but I don't want to pay an outrageous amount to do so.

Not in KW but in Marathon, there is a party boat, Marathon Lady. It's around MM 51 ocean side. They go out twice a day. You WILL catch fish and have fun. Only about an hour from KW. Try to get a spot on the stern and bring a few cut up shrimp for bait. They have bait but not shrimp.You'll catch yellowtail and much more.Price is around $50 for everything. I know of another a bit up the road from there. If you want a # for the Lady or details on more party boats, send me an e-mail. Sorry but don't know much about south of Marathon. Tight lines.

Try the party/head boats, this will be you chance to really go fishing. I'll add a few links that way. Like the guy above me said, you can also try Whitehead pier...that's a good place to start. The snapper around the pier is next to impossible to catch but if you can manage a 70-100 yard cast out towards the east, you can hook into some nice fish. Go with cut baits or live pin fish ( remove the dorsal with scissors..hint.)  If you happen to have a vehicle, try going north on U.S.1 and hit the bridges at night. Use live shrimp on split shots for some big snappers. Word of caution, know the rules before you fish here...the law is quick to strike on people fishing the keys. I'll add that here in a link for you as well. You may also need a fishing license.
