Where is a good place for a family of 5 to visit in Spain if you had 8 days, like beach and art?

Prefer something on the Mediterranean side. Multiple cities good. Thoughts?

I would say, Mallorca, for starters, its very nice, beautiful beaches, and must of all i find the people a bit reserved but gracious..
