Where is a good place for a teen to start looking for an agent in the modeling/acting industry?

I'm trying to start young in the modeling industry, I'm 15. But I'm not sure where to get started. I know there is tons of agents for models and actresses out there to help, but I find it hard to find one over the internet without getting scammed. Does anyone know a good place to find a real agent/agency for a teenager just starting out?

Get a portfolio started with professional pictures (could be pricey) Find agents online (try onetalentsource.com and/or backpage.com) join any activity in your school that could add to your background experience. But please make sure this is what you really want. Finish school and try to wait until then, you still would be young and alot more mature onhow to handle situation, take it from me, from 15 to 17 I change and grown so much, and know how to make smarter choices.
