Where is a good place for two females and a ten year old boy to go?

I want to take my friend and my ten yr old son somewhere special in new zealand this new years eve but am not sure of whats on. Any ideas???????? am willing to go just about anywhere

Rotorua is a great place for New Years holidays.  Lots to do during the day to keep a 10 year old boy entertained, as well as shops and tourist activities.

On New  Years Eve they usually have a big fireworks display at the lake in the centre of town.

Hi Cheek,  If you were here in The USA  I would say, " Go to

Disneyland and have a ball". I don't know if you have anything like this in New Zealand. Why not let your 10 old son pick a place to go!
