Where is a good place in northern california near sacramento to camp.

i would perfer camping in woods with fishing and i dont mind a hour drive or so. tyvm 4 your help

You can drive up to Ice House/Loon Lake. It's about an hour/ hour & a half east of Sac on the 50. That's my favorite place to go as most tourists don't know it exists and so it's not too crowded. You can also try Clear Lake or Lake Berryessa. They're nice too. There are many places in the Tahoe area as well.

there are a couple rivers that run through sacramento that has campsites all along it, and you can river raft. i belive one is the sacramento river and the other is the king river. if you call sacramento's visitor's authority i am sure they can help you.
