Where is a good place to buy cheap surfboards in socal for a beginner surfer?

I'm looking for a board under 200 dollars and im just starting to learn to surf. im 6 foot and about 160 lb...

Your best bet is to check Pennysavers or go to swap meets.  It will be difficult for you to find a board that will fit you at that price in a surf shop.

Check out chubbysurf.com. They have a location in Camarillo and have boards that are under $200.00.

Since you're a beginner, you would want to get a larger board.

I'd Suggest a used sports store we have a store called "Play it Again"  or search in news papers or check ebay.

look on craigslist or the recycler, you can usually find some pretty good deals
