  1. on the beach in the sand


  2. 1) Snug Harbor - in the mud-flats and along the coastal waterways, and salt ponds in the area

    2) Go to  sandbars or in the shallow water with a rake, a shovel or even bare hands, and you can dig up softshell clams or littlenecks. (doesn't have to be Snug Harbor either)
