I'm looking for restaurant recommendations in Manhattan that would be fun for my kids. I have two daughters, aged 9 and 10.

I also need a restaurant recommendation for a pre-show dinner near Broadway (show starts at 7pm).

THANKS!

  1. Ellen's Stardust Diner on Broadway and 51st Street is a lot of fun.  The waitstaff are all very talented singers and there is a non-stop show.  The food served here appeals to kids - check out their menu and read about it here:

  2. Planet Hollywood, Hard rock cafe

  3. There are a whole bunch of theme restaurants along 57th Street. Planet Hollywood and others.

  4. Try Dave and Buster's - definitely kid friendly and in the heart of time square right near all the shows!

  5. John's Pizza or Carmine's are great family friendly pre-theater dinner places very near the Broadway shows.

If you don't want anything too fancy or lengthy, there's also Cosi.  They have table service for dinner, but you're in and out pretty quickly.  The food and atmosphere is definitely kid-friendly.
