Where is a good place to donate a car in San Diego, CA?

I have a car that I do not want and I want to donate it to a charity. Where is it possible to donate it where it would go to a good charity, but I can get it to be tax deductible?

Good Will, St. Vincent dePaul Society, local homeless shelters and care centers might need transportation. As long as the car is in good running condition. You would have to have a blue book estimate done on your car, a local dealership might help, or you could look it up online. Then you can get a receipt from the group you donate to, and submit that at tax time for consideration.

Please make sure the vehicle is running and in decent shape, these institutions do not have thousands of dollars to spend fixing up broken cars that no one wants.
