This is where i bought my eventers from im in the uk but ireland have a quality for horses the uk dont

Here usually by word of mouth, if you mention to someone that you know buys and sells horses ask them to keep an eye out for something that would suit, there is also the irish field newspaper or donedeal.ie. I would not however buy a horse form the Buy and Sell, you never know what your going to get.

You could try the upcoming sales too but be aware that people will try and chance their arm. If you do not have alot of experience bring someone along to have a look at the pony otherwise good luck.

lucky you to be in ireland where i think the best horses come from.  if experenced go to the cavan or gorsebridge sales.  lots of ponies to see and inspect in one place.  bonus being that they are vetted before being allowed in the sales ring at no cost to you.

or perhaps by word of mouth from your pony or riding club if you need a pony that you need to know more history on what activities it has done.
