Where is a good place to find an inexpensive, off the rack, "corset" in St. Marks Place in NYC?

I'm traveling to NYC for the first time in years, and I'm visiting St. Marks Place, in Greenwich village.I loved that area when I went there last, so hopefully it will be fun! I know a lot of the stores have changed, and I'm looking for a good basic corset off the rack. By corset, I don't mean a tightlacing one, or one that would reduce more than an inch or so, but not a flimsy lingerie/hot topic one. Also, I'd prefer it if it wasn't in a fetish shop. (If there are still a lot of those around.) Some of the people I'm traveling with, erm, they get freaked out easily, and although those stores are fun at times to stop into, it's a bit different of the style than I'm going for. I'm looking for a Victorian gothy one, fabric, not pleather/leather/pvc, overbust, and pretty cheap. (Under $100, preferably closer to $50) And yes, I know I could order things online, but I love stopping in storefronts. Also, I'm only stopping in that area for two hours on a Sunday morning/afternoon, so I need a place that will be open then. I haven't been there in so long, so I'm not even sure if that's the part of NYC that would have stuff like that still. And I never lived there, just traveled.

  1. Two places on St. Marks that I would try are:

Trash & Vaudeville - this is a two level store and has lots of good stuff

Enz - Enz is a little more gothic, but definitely not fetish

They are on opposite sides of the street, but both closer to 3rd Avenue
