  1. The Pocono Mountains offer some decent quality trout fishing

even at this time of year.

Broadhads Creek (Stroudsburg): Tricos, small caddis, terrestrials

Lehigh River (Below Francis Walter Res.): Caddis, Streamers

Pohopoco (From the Release at Beltzville dam downstream):

    Cream Cahills, caddis, terrestrials

Delaware River: From Callicoon upstream - Isonychias, caddis, Blue Quills, BWO's, Nymphs and streamers/wooly-boogers - for trout

Downstream from Callicoon: Smallmouth water: Clouser minnows and brown wooly boogers during the day, stimlators near dusk

  2. Try taking the ride to the catskills or go to the delaware river.

Here is a good article on where to go in the catskills

  3. I live In Huntington Beach and fly fishing this time of year is good in the smokies, the rockies and the sierras in fact it is even better if you find on a lake where the rivers dump into them because the rainbows will be moving up stream to spawn before the beginnings of winter and that's soon if you head north into vermont or maine. But thats a different type of trip. So! I hope that I was of the help you asked for. and have a nice day
