Where is a good place to get cheap framing done in DC?

I have two posters that I would like to be framed. They are both abnormal sizes and premade frames will not fit. Any suggestions to where I can get this done without having to pay too much?

Keep a look out for specials at places like Michael's and/or AC Moore.  They periodically have deals on framing.

I used to travel out to Fairfax upon the suggestion from a fellow artist for my framing needs after the sticker shock at most places in the District.

Have you checked out the possibility of using frame kits from art supply stores? You purchase open stock framing materials, mix and match the frame dimensions to exactly fit the poster, and frame it yourself. You will need to purchase the glass and mounting board seperately.

Frame of Mind on Capitol Hill (522 Eighth Street SE; Eastern Market Metro) offers a "do-it-yourself" option where they supply all the materials but you assemble the frame. We didn't think it saved too much on the piece we did there, but it is worth checking out.
