Where is a good place to go camping in the Australian Capital Territory?

We want to get away from Sydney but not to have to drive too far, so we were thinking Canberra.

don't go to Canberra lol nothing to do here go to the coast like batemans bay or Merimbula or something like that, There is a beach there and its not to far.
