Where is a good place to go for food in Delhi?

Question

I am moving to Delhi and look for ethnic foods- what is available and where?

I like Japanese, Chinese, Sushi, Thai, Burgers, Mexican, Lebanese, Moroccan and want to try those flavours in India

Delhi and the entire NCR has no shortage of good food and places all over. The only aspects could be your commuting to such places, your tastes, budget, frequency, company and selection out of available choices. Though all big hotels in their restaurants and other stand alone restaurants in the NCR do serve respective speciality cuisine from continents, they also serve sumptuous variety Indian food for regular consumption.

To start with, you may visit Pandara Road Market, GK II Market, Eatopia and American Dinners at Habitat Centre Lodhi Road, Connaught Place Inner and Outer Circle, Sector 18 Noida, Gurgaon - certain places mentioned above in another answer, Khan Market,.....list is endless.

Moreover, most of the Delhi/NCR areas do have their local outlets, specialist and very tasty in their own count, serving variety of Indian and Continental cuisines. Find out in the area where you are going to stay. Additionally, if you can catch hold of some of the members of various clubs and institutions, whom you could accompany as guest, quite a few of them have really good chefs/kitchens at very decent prices as well. Various State Houses in Delhi, particularly from  North-East, also serve good Chinese and Thai food to Public in their attached restaurants.
