There's a great restaurant called Sahara, 301 Swanston St. Amazing food. It's on the first floor and you can sit at a table that looks out the window onto the street and absorb the flavours and people of Melbourne.

I also love St Kilda on a sunny Sunday - Esplanade markets, Luna Park, Acland St, walking along the beach. The energy and people-watching are fantastic. Fitzroy St has some good bars and pubs.

I like the Royal Arcade off Bourke St - go to Koko Black for the best hot chocolate ever, and unusual little shops all along, like Spellbox. All the little alleys of Collins and Bourke have wonderful restaurants and shopping.

Botanic Gardens are some of the most beautiful in the world, great place to have stroll around and have a picnic and a glass of wine.

The zoo is great too. Can you tell I love Melbourne??

st Kilda's is quite nice, its the beach area in Melbourne. There is a really nice market that lines the beach. Its quite laid back. General Melbourne town centre is nice for a night out!
