i will be 18 years old when i will be going on holiday and I'm looking for a relaxing time with my boyfriend with a really nice hotel with nice gardens, pools and rooms at a reasonable price. i would also really like nice beaches or coves with lots of places to eat, I'm not bothered about going out clubbing it ha ha, just a relaxing time away where i can get a tan =]

i was thinking about south of france, Algarve or majorca

any other suggestions...? i also want it to be reasonably cheap to eat out... all in all about £500 for flight and hotel. also, who do yo think it is best to do package deals with like thomson, first choice etc?

thanks xx

  2. Look at Bitez in Turkey.  It is a small, relaxing place.  A narrow but relaxing beach with great restaurants, cushions and sofas on the beach and you can go on fantastic excursions from there.  For £10 you can go on an all day boat trip - great lunch included - from Bitez which is very relaxing and not clubby.  They also do a great trip to Ephesis and other places.  Bodrum is lovely during the day and only 20 mins away but it is very loud and clubby at night.

If you want a night of noise and chavs, it is only about a 5 minute dolmosh ride to Gumbet - but might be a world away!

Most of the hotels and apartments are two or three star - but are far nicer and cleaner and with better food and hospitality than any 4 star hotels I have stayed in.

Hotels like the Toloman do not often have kids staying so has a civilised adult (slightly hippy) atmosphere to it and is lovely.  Meis Apartments are also brilliant to name but two.

  3. Check out www.kimihotel.com the south of France is just what your looking for, You can relax on the fantastic beechm abd check out Nice, Cannes, Monoco and Antibes all within easy reach of the Hotel.

  4. Not enough info...like where you are starting from?

  5. Why not try Estoril?

its about half an hour from Lisbon in Portugal and is really nice.

the beaches nearby are chilled out, there are some nice hotels in the area and the people are really friendly. Lisbon is a train ride away with the old town  (baixa) pronounced bysha, where you can do your shopping and see the historic parts of town.

theres a market on sundays up at the old bull ring

the casino is the biggest in europe and well worth a visit, just to see the grounds and the light show on the fountains.

all in all, a nice relaxing place place to go and enjoy a peacefull holiday but close enough to all the action if you get bored.
