Where is a good place to go ten pin bowling in the Sunderland/Newcastle area?

Need somewhere good.... preferably somewhere that serves food and is not too far away.

In Newcastle you have Megabowl which is situated in Longbenton next to No Frills and the old hyper supermarket (Whitley Road, Benton, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, NE12 9SZ). I've been there many times and its quite big and good.

Theres also a new bowling alley at the Royal Quays next door to Wet & Wild, this is also a good one

The only other bowling alley I know of is in the Metro Centre but this gets very busy at the weekends and you need to book in advance.

I dont know Sunderland very well so i can't give any advice around there except that the royal quays bowling alley is not far from the tyne tunnel that is easy accessible from Sunderland
